The State of Our Union
President Obama says our nation must address inequality,
The idea that the rich don’t have to pay their fare share is a fallacy.
Those who make over one million a year should pay taxes at a rate of 30%;
The rules are bent for the 1%; we’re not going to blame that on the President.
The Pres wants to provide tax incentives for companies to bring jobs back from overseas,
These are some of the loopholes that have brought this country to its knees.
I loved the State of the Union speech; it was the best I’ve heard to date,
I’m one of the homeowners Obama is helping obtain a historically low interest rate.
While detailing what Obama called a “blueprint for an economy built to last”,
He presented himself to voters as a champion for the middle-class.
Obama challenged Congress to help him close the disparity between the rich & the 99%,
“Class warfare” is the populist chords the Republicans lodged against the President.
The GDP that is the value of all goods & services generated in the U.S.,
Has expanded in the fourth quarter 2.8% a post-recession levels’ best.
The nation has recorded 22 straight months of job increases 3 million remember,
These numbers include the addition of 200,000 jobs in December.
“I believe in you guys,” Obama said. “You guys have had my back through some very tough times.”
“Let’s Stay Together,” I….m, so in love with you … is ringing in my head or maybe it chimes.
